Use the app and library for your own photography. Recipes you create are yours. The curated library is provided for use with your camera, not for resale.

Huginn writes only to the documented custom-settings slots and never touches firmware. You are responsible for confirming a slot overwrite before it happens.

Publishing a recipe to the library does not transfer it. It stays yours, and you can keep using it, changing it, publishing it elsewhere, and taking it to another app. Contributing is not exclusive and we do not ask you to stop doing anything with your own work.

What you give us is permission: a permanent, worldwide, royalty free licence to keep that recipe in the library and distribute it in the app and on this site, and to show your name and handle alongside it while you have an account. It is permanent because other people save these recipes into their own libraries and build shoots around them, so withdrawing one later would break their work, not ours.

If you delete your account, published recipes stay in the library and become anonymous contributions. Your name, handle, and everything else identifying you comes off them, and they cannot be credited back to you afterwards. Your own copy stays on your device, still yours to edit and use. We do not claim authorship of anonymised contributions and we do not present them as our own work.

We can stop distributing any recipe at any time. Anything you contribute must be yours to contribute.

Pro is a subscription, billed monthly or annually through Stripe on this site. Founder pricing is kept for as long as the subscription stays active. Cancel any time from your account page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Purchases are final except where the law requires otherwise.
